The Ohio author will meet readers and sign copies of his debut book, Whispers on the Swing, during the world's largest publishing trade fair.
-- Keith A. Hartzler will make his Frankfurter Buchmesse debut this fall, introducing readers to his first book, Whispers on the Swing, during two public signing events at the internationally recognized publishing exhibition.
Hartzler is scheduled to appear Oct. 9 and 10 at The Maple Staple Booth, Hall 5.1, Stand D86, where visitors will have an opportunity to meet the author, discuss the inspiration behind his work and receive signed copies of the book.
The Frankfurter Buchmesse, taking place Oct. 7-11, has long been regarded as a meeting place for the global publishing community. Publishers, authors, translators, literary agents, booksellers and librarians gather each year in Frankfurt to showcase new titles, negotiate publishing rights and discover emerging voices from around the world. Alongside industry business, the fair also welcomes thousands of readers through public programs that connect audiences directly with authors.
For Hartzler, the event represents the first international showcase for a book that grew out of years of personal reflection rather than a plan to write a traditional devotional.
